We are working for raising the participation of Young people and Women towards social causes , their rights , health and civil society building .We are organizing several events on different occassions like Population Day , World AIDS Day , International Women Day to reamrk the link of these events witht the population in general.
More than 1000 Units of blood have been donated since our first camp in June 2011 . The USP of our donation camp is that we are using powerful social netwoking websites for promoting these camps which is resulting in briniging in more participation of the youths. amily/replacement donors still provide more than 45% of the blood collected in India , and to promote Voluntary Blood Donation among the common masses this was an initiative taken by The Dove Foundation. World Blood Donors Day is celeberated as mega annual event by the Dove Foundation to motivate the voluntary blood donors.
All over the world, women are increasingly bearing the brunt of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Today, in India, a significant number of all adults living with HIV/AIDS are women. Infection rates in young women are far higher than in young men. Each year, The Dove Foundation with support from UP SACS ,State Government of Uttar Pradesh organized a state level event with theme of Women & HIV/AIDS at JHV Mall, Varanasi Uttar Pradesh. The event saw a gathering of around 350 women from all spheres of life , children to grandmother and working women to newly wed women . Keeping the theme of the event 'Women & HIV/AIDS' the participants were educated and made aware the vulnerabilities of women to HIV/AIDS and how they prevent it .The celebration was conducted in a very interactive way using Videos, Presentations, & Games for giving knowledge about HIV/AIDS, and there were different competitions such as Dancing, Singing, Mehndi, Painting and fashion show by women of all spheres.
